I like french fries, do you? I used to eat fast food and restaurant french fries, but not anymore. I’d rather make my own “french fries” because it’s better and healthier for me. So what makes it better than the popular french fries? It’s not deep-fried in fat, and I can choose to put more healthy seasonings in it. Next time you crave for french fries, think of healthier, better french fries — homemade baked potato fries! It’s very easy, you can make it! 🙂 Great for light supper with fruits and fresh juice, or as a side dish.

6 pcs regular size potatoes, sliced
2 TBspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt or a little more to taste
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoon country style vegan seasoning powder
1 TBspoons nutritional yeast flakes
1/2 teaspoon Kelp granules/powder (optional)
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon sage powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
*** you may add chili powder if you want
1. Pre-heat oven to 430*C (220*F). Wash and peel (or partially peel) potatoes’ skin.
2. Slice potatoes into strips/wedges.
3. In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients using a spatula or both hands.
4. Place seasoned potato strips evenly on 2 baking sheets. Bake for about 40 minutes total. 20 minutes on both sides.
*** If you want a more crunchy fries, leave it in the oven for another 10 minutes or so as the oven cools off.
Eat with Sriracha sauce or ketchup. Enjoy!
Change it up: You can also use sweet potatoes in place of potatoes. Yum! Sweet potatoes are more moist so you have to bake it longer.
